Some of our products come packaged in plastic, however, we are committed to continually work with manufacturers to reduce/eliminate plastic packaging wherever possible. We do our best to indicate in the ‘Additional Description’ section of every item in our store if the product comes packaged in plastic or if the product itself has plastic parts.
For us, using plastic is about trade offs. We asked ourselves what’s better, a small amount of plastic in either packaging or in a reusable product or continuing to use single-use counterparts? When it comes to the big picture and our desire to reduce consumption of single-use items, the answer was obvious.

In keeping with our mission to reduce waste whenever possible, we reuse packaging and boxes sent to use by manufacturers. These boxes may contain plastic tape or other residual plastic. We hope you understand and that you will either reuse the packaging yourself or recycle it. We do not use additional plastic tape or packing material – we use Kraft paper tape, recycled paper, and cardboard boxes with the highest percentage of recycled/post consumer waste material we can find.
In keeping with our commitment to reduce excess waste we will only be sending receipts electronically. If you wish to receive a hard copy of your receipt in your order please specify on your order in the comment section.
We ship Monday – Friday EST business hours. Our commitment is to ship your order within 72 business hours of receiving it (although it will likely be faster than that). If there is any delay with your order you will be notified by email.
Buyers are responsible for any customs or import taxes that may apply. PAREdown is not responsible for delays due to customs.
The following criteria must be met to be eligible for a return:
- Item must be in the original packaging, unused and in the same condition as you received it.
- Returned within 14 days of you receiving the item.
- Original receipt (or copy) must accompany the item.
- Once we have received the item, it will be inspected and you will be notified of the status of your return by email.
- Refunds will be refunded via your original method of payment.
